Our Team

Basil Mashabane

Basil is an admitted Attorney with post-qualification experience of 15 years as a Corporate Commercial lawyer both in Litigation and general Commercial law with 8 of those years spent as Legal Counsel and Deputy Executive Director of the Takeover Regulation Panel (Panel), a regulator of Takeovers and Mergers in terms of the Companies Act, 2008. Basil is a specialist Takeover law lawyer with extensive knowledge and experience in Takeovers undertaken in terms of the Companies Act and this in addition to the extensive experience he acquired in Commercial and Insurance law litigation having been part of one of the major law firms in South Africa as a Senior Associate. Basil is a consummate professional with a passion for continuous learning and development and he is always on the look-out for opportunities to impart his knowledge and experience to up-and-coming legal professionals as seen through his involvement as an external examiner for UNISA on its LLM Corporate Law Degree Programme.

Yogie Maharaj CC&A

Yogie Maharaj

Yogie is a Conveyancing Secretary with 24 years of conveyancing experience. Yogie specializes in transfers. She has been with CC&A for 11 years. In her professional capacity, Yogie enjoys interacting with people from different walks of life and enjoys the collaborative working environment within CC&A. She is pleased that she is able to offer value to the firm, her agents and clients. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and trying out different cuisines, travelling, keeping active by exercising and tenpin bowling.

Yogie Maharaj CC&A

Olivia Vorster

Olivia obtained her BCom and LLB degree at the North West University of Potchefstroom and was admitted as an attorney in 2023. She is applying her expertise within CC&A’s bonds registration department. She is committed to maintain excellence in all aspects of her work, ensuring that every client receives professional service that exceeds their expectations.

In her personal time, Olivia values spending quality time with her family and friends.

Mpho Mashabane CC&A

Mpho Mashabane

Mpho completed her LLB Deree through UNISA in 2021. She Joined CCA in 2022 as a Candidate Attorney supporting the Conveyancing Department in bonds registration, transfers and cancellation, Deceased Estate Department with winding up late estates and the Litigation Department with general litigation. Mpho is currently employed as a Compliance Officer in our Risk and Compliance Department and Awaiting Admission as an Attorney.

Mpho has a strong passion for compliance, deceased estates, property law and conveyancing and her goal is to serve people through law. In her spare time, Mpho is a social marathon runner, enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with her family.

Carol Coetzee CC&A

Carol Coetzee

Carol is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and is an admitted practising Conveyancer with 23 years of extensive experience in property law. Carol specialises in corporate property law and property developments, both residential and commercial. She manages a highly successful property law / conveyancing practice and provides quality service to clients. Carol maintains high quality service by adapting to the challenging needs of her clients, by recognizing that her success depends on flexibility and innovation in order to meet her client’s needs. Carol loves spending time with her two kids and husband and in her spare time makes a concerted effort to give back to the community and is passionate about making a positive impact in the world through her community service endeavours.

Debbie Jacobs CC&A

Debbie Jacobs

Debbie is a skilled Bookkeeper with 24 years of experience in legal bookkeeping. She has served in her role at CC&A for nearly three years and enjoys being in control of her responsibilities. In her own words: “I have learnt to accept those things I cannot change.”

William Molokomme CC&A

William Molokomme

William has performed his duties as a Messenger at CC&A for 19 years. He enjoys interacting with our clients and is an integral member of our team. In his spare time, Wiliam enjoys working on cars and playing soccer.

Hazel Sinala CC&A

Hazel Sinala

Hazel has worked at CC&A for 7 years, 3 of those years have been spent as a Conveyancing Assistant to Jana, Zenda and Debbie. Hazel enjoys her job as she can see clear room for growth in her role. Hazel is a bubbly individual and as such, enjoys connecting and bonding with her work colleagues. In her role at CC&A, she has learnt to communicate with people, always putting on a bright smile when talking to clients. Hazel’s hobbies are dancing, cooking, reading, watching tv and playing video games.

Zenda Blignaut CC&A

ZENDA BLIGNAUT

Zenda has 36 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Secretary. Zenda specializes in bond registrations and cancellations. She has worked at CC&A for a year and a half and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in her field and enjoys working collaboratively with her colleagues. Zenda prioritizes Church life, family and loves to be in nature.

Ethel Moeti CC&A

Ethel Moeti

Ethel is the Receptionist at CC&A and with a warm and bright smile, welcomes each person that walks through the door at our office. In addition to her role as receptionist she acts as the securities department for our office, ensuring that deeds are sent to the respective banks efficiently and timeously and with speed and accuracy opens our transfer files. Ethel has 10 years of experience as a receptionist and has served the firm diligently for 16 years. Even though her job is challenging, Ethel enjoys her job and fulfils her role to the best of her capabilities. She enjoys singing, reading books, listening to music and watching sports.

Azellé Griessel

Azellé Griessel is a dedicated and highly professional Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer with over 22 years of extensive practical experience in law. She specializes in property transfers, estate administration, family law matters, and antenuptial contracts. Known for her meticulous and precise approach, Azellé consistently delivers excellent results, ensuring that every transaction is handled with efficiency and attention to detail.

Her strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure make her a reliable and service-oriented legal professional, committed to providing the highest level of client care.

Outside of her legal practice, Azellé values spending quality time with her family, enjoys a good book, and finds relaxation in music. She embraces life fully, striving to make the most of every moment.
